A loan helped to cover the first year educational costs of Master's studies.


Nino's story

Nino, who is 27 years old and a married woman, lives in Rustavi city with her husband and two little sons. Nino has higher education and wants to extend her knowledge in Business Administration. She entered Georgian Institute for Public Affairs and has great desire to develop her own business.

The only source of income for the family is from private activity that Nino's husband owns. In particular, he has an online store for various clothing and shoes. Nino is very motivated to get a higher education and manage the business more effectively.

The educational loan program that is a joint initiative between Credo Band and Kiva enabled her to get 7,500 GEL and pay for her first year's study costs.

Nino assures lenders that she will be an excellent student so as to be able to return their money.
