A loan helped .

Truc's story

Throughout my life, I've been drawn to volunteer opportunities, often working with organizations including Relay for Life, Charity: Water and establishing a local chapter of Locks of Love at my university (which still thrives today). Having always dreamed of using my creativity to bring awareness to nonprofits and products that promote social good, I knew one day I would start a social enterprise.

Over the last ten years, I have made it my mission to learn the various aspects of launching successful global products. My experience in marketing and advertising in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) helped to build a growing awareness of what it takes to build a thriving company.

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to visit a peanut butter factory in Haiti that was set up to feed kids who are malnourished and undernourished. I instantly fell in love with, not only, the children but also the strong women who were leading the factory, their employees, the farmers and their families. The Haitian people are hardworking and resilient; always looking to better their communities and their lives. I knew I had to use my advertising and creative background to help them launch a product that could bring good to the world.

This loan is special because:

It helps a female entrepreneur increase inventory to pump up peanut butter supplies to meet demands.
