Bridget lives in Chihota, near Harare. She grows vegetables and tomatoes and sometimes potatoes. She delivers her produce once every two weeks to the main vegetable market in Harare. She has been in the business for the past five years. She contributes much to her family through her garden, as she helps her husband to meet the family obligations. Her husband is currently in the business of weaving. At the moment she has close to one hectare of land with vegetables and some tomato seedlings ready to be planted.
Bridget is a member of Chivizhe group. Bridget is 31 years old and mother of three; all her children are attending primary school in Chihota.
The group attended training on savings which was practical training that they will apply in their businesses.
She used her loan to buy fertilizer and seed.
