Rani's story

Rani is a 29 year-old hardworking woman and has two children, aged five and four. Currently they are attending school. She lives with her family in Multan. She specializes in embroidery work and has been involved in this work forthe past four years. She makes embroidery dresses herself and sells those dresses in the market at reasonable prices. She manages her business in a good way. She wants to improve her business and needs to increase her income. Her husband is a tailor but earns minimal income.

Therefore, Rani is asking for a Kiva loan to buy some embroidery supplies like fabrics, thread, stones, and needles to continue her business. This is Rani’s second loan with Kiva’a field partner, BRAC Pakistan. Rani is grateful to Kiva all lenders and BRAC Pakistan for this support.
