Nyaung Hla (4) (A) Village Group is located in Pakokku, which is in the Magway region of central Myanmar. Most of the villagers earn their living as farmers or day laborers and by operating grocery stores or raising livestock.

Five loan customers are in the Nyaung Hla (4) (A) Village Group. Their names are Sein, Aye, San, Mya and Wai. The first one from the left in the picture is Aye. She is 40 years old and shares her life with her beloved six family members. Aye engages in farming along with her family. She is going to use this Kiva loan for her farm. She will purchase fertilizer and quality seeds in order to boost the crop yields. Some portion of the loan will be used to pay for farm labor charges.
