A loan helped to purchase fertilizers.

Lorena Victoria's story

Lorena is a young 19 year old woman. She is single and lives in the country in the community of Piartal, Ecuador with her parents, a brother, and her 3 year old niece. Lorna makes her living in farming and raising animals, and this is the way she earns income to live on. She is requesting the loan to invest in the cultivation of potatoes, and she needs to purchase fertilizer. She hopes to have a good harvest, which will allow her to increase profits and capital and enable her to continue planting and thus have the resources to buy property.
