Nhàn's story

Nhàn is 40 years old and she is married with 3 children. She is part of an ethnic minority living in Thach Thanh district, a mountainous region of the Thanh Hoa province. She lives very far from the center, and she has no opportunity to access loans from other banks.
In 2016, Nhàn joined Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution to improve her business. Nhàn has successfully repaid 2 previous loans from Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution.

Nhàn has worked in agriculture, growing pineapple plants, for more than 10 years. She has no collateral because she cannot get loans from other banks or credit institutions. Nhàn is a reputable person in the community. The main hardship that she faces is the lack of capital.
