The communal group "Sonrisas" will begin their second cycle with Pro Mujer, part of the Centro Focal Copacabana. The group is made up of 8 members and is directed by a general committee where Antonia is president.
The loan they took out will benefit small micro entrepreneurs of which Antonia forms a part. At the present time, she has a business selling potatoes. She reveals that she learnt this business on her own initiative several years ago.
The loan she will take out now will be used to increase capital in order to buy seeds which she will purchase from wholesalers in the city of La Paz, and afterwards plant and harvest, serving as a means of production.
This kind of work allows her to generate income to financially support her family, since she is married and has three children.
