A loan helped to buy rice, sugar, beans, eggs, cheese, flour, oil, and coffee, etc. for her business.

Gladis's story

Gladis, 65, is married and lives with her daughter and two grandchildren. For over 16 years she has been selling groceries at her business in the community of San Lorenzo in southern Honduras. She sells all kinds of basic staples as well as foods like beef tripe stew, tortillas, enchiladas, soft drinks and bagged water. Gladis is a hard-working, enterprising woman who wishes to get ahead. She sells just about everything and through her work has been able to provide for her children and their education.

This loan is to buy groceries such as rice, sugar, beans, eggs, cheese, flour, oil, coffee, etc. With the help of the loan she hopes to improve her income and get ahead. She is very happy about her sixth loan and is grateful to Prisma and Kiva for their support.

Her dream is to improve her business and renovate her house.
