Tuygin's story

Tuygin was born in 1963. She is married and has three children. For the last ten years, she has earned a living as a farmer. She has her own business: she sows watermelon, melon, wheat, maize, corn, onions, and other crops on a rented hectare plot. She loves her job and is the family's main breadwinner. Her husband helps her with the business.


With the time for sowing a new crop approaching, Tuygin lacks the funds to buy watermelon seeds, and mineral fertilizer for her farming business. This is why she is seeking a loan of 12,000 TJS. She is returning client and has positive credit history. It is her third request to Kiva’s field partner IMON. She is grateful to have the support of Kiva lenders.
