Baghagha Group's story

This group is a part of a 'banc villageois' that was started in June 2002. The group is made up of 12 women who do a variety of different work. Adama, who is on the right side of the photograph with her hand raised, is the group's representative. She is a 22-year-old, married woman who has two sons. She has had her business for five years. She will use the loan to buy 50 kg of smoked fish. She is happy with her business' results. Her profit will be used to increase her supply and help her cover the family expenses.
