Razia Bibi's story

Razia Bibi is a 25-year-old married lady, living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan with her spouse. Her husband works in a factory at low-wage rate; he cannot bear his house expenses. So, Razia Bibi wants to financially help her husband through stitching cloth at home.

She stitches beautifully, and the ladies of her hometown like her arts very much. Due to continuously working, her sewing machine has broken. She wants to purchase a new sewing machine and sewing materials, i.e. needles, spools, thread, etc. so she can easily cope with the increasing demand.

Therefore, Razia Bibi has requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan so she can buy a new sewing machine and sewing material. This will make her business more effective for her family members and easily turn out new products for her clients. She thanks Kiva loaners and field partner BRAC Pakistan.
