A loan helped to buy a cow and organic fertilizer for growing crops to improve her income.

Benigna's story

Benigna and her husband Juan live in Cochabamba, in Chapare province. They are 37 and 40 years old, respectively. They are financially independent with five dependent children. The two of them make a living as farmers. They grow potatoes and fava beans on about 4.5 acres. To sell their products, they have an established market, the weekly market at Colomi.

She needs this loan to buy a dairy cow for the family's needs and organic fertilizer for growing crops. For this reason, they came to our offices to apply for a loan. They invested their savings by buying farmland.
