Pin is aged 49 years old and is a married mother of six children. Nowadays, Pin is residing in a small house with her beloved family located in Sangke district of Battambang province, Cambodia.
Growing rice and selling snacks have been the sources of her family’s income for twelve years. This hardworking woman spends almost full days working in her rice field during the growing season. Drought is the main challenge for her business and causes her to generate only a little income.
To save her farming business, she is now leading a group that consists of four members to request this supportive loan. This will be the eleventh loan cycle for her, while her group members are in their third and tenth loan cycles.
Pin is planning to manage her loan to cover her farming expenses, such as purchasing fertilizer and paying for the plowing fee. She hopes her crop will grow well and return her more income than before.
