A loan helped to buy more fruits in order to continue selling and to obtain earnings for his children's schooling.

José Leopoldo's story

José only attended school through the first grade because his parents lived in extreme poverty. He is in a relationship, and his wife sells fruit. They have three children who are in school.

José works in agriculture and in selling fruit. He goes out to sell fruit on his bicycle. He wanted to start this job because his income from farming wasn't sufficient to maintain his family.

He needs this loan to buy more fruits in order to continue selling to obtain earnings for his children's schooling. José dreams of moving his children forward and that they stay in school in order to obtain dignified work.
