Huong is 27-year-old Thai ethnic lady who is pictured first on the right above. Huong is married and has one lovely daughter. She lives with her parent-in-law, her husband, her two brothers-in-law and her daughter in a Thai traditional house.
Most of her family income is from agricultural production, which is usually unstable and low. She grows rice and cassava and raises buffalo, pigs and chicken.
To develop her farming, she took a loan of the Anh Chi Em program and repaid it successfully.
This time she has taken out a new loan from the Anh Chi Em program to purchase fertilizers to put in her rice field.
Huong hopes she will have a bumper summer crop in the next few months.
