Francisca is 51 years old, married, and lives with her husband and six children in a village of Intibucá. She works growing potatoes. She has been farming with her family for approximately 21 years. She does the planting on her own property and she sells the yield in the nearby markets. She asks for her first loan from ODEF for the amount of 20,000 lempiras to purchase potato seeds, fertilizers, supplies, and pay labor costs to plant and support the crop. This will help her to increase her family's income. Her goal is to increase her yield and improve her house.
