Llapanchis Llankasun Group's story

The members belong to the communal bank Llapanchis Llankasun, which is situated in the district of Echarate, in the province of La Convención, department of Cusco.

Maria is 56 years old and married, with three children. She works in her business growing fruit; she has a piece of land where she grows mandarins, coffee, bananas and oranges, working from 6am till 5pm. She has had this business for several years now and it is going very well for her. Her dream is to expand the area of land she cultivates. She is requesting the loan to buy seeds and fertilisers.

The other members work in animal sales, agriculture, grocery stores, and food sales.

Maria is grateful to the people who, through this loan, are part of her dream, and she promises to make all of her repayments on time.
