The members belong to the communal bank Nueva Esperanza de Kelccaybamba ("New Hope of Kelccaybamba"), which is situated in the district of Ocobamba, in the province of La Convención and department of Cusco.
Regina is a member who divides her time between her daily chores and working at her agricultural business; she has a piece of farmland where she sows coffee and bananas, working from 8am till 6pm. She has had this business for several years now and it is going very well for her. Her dream is to expand her farming business. She is applying for the loan to buy seeds and fertilisers.
All of the members are grateful for the loan granted to them and are committed to making all of their payments on time.
