Janeth's story

Janeth is 18 years old, and works day after day in her farming. She lives with a partner, and completed only elementary school due to a lack of economic resources. She has one dependent and lives in her father's house. The house is made with local materials and is rustic, with basic services such as electricity and water. The home is located in the San Isidro community in Tiraque province.

She earns a living farming, growing seasonal potatoes, green beans, and peas. "All these agricultural products are grown on approximately two irrigated hectares."

Janeth finds herself needing to seek operating capital in order to buy organic fertilizer and seed potatoes so that she can improve her quality of life and family living conditions in the future.
