A loan helped to purchase seeds and organic fertilizer to grow peppers.

Maria Carlina's story

Maria, 36, lives with her husband and 18 year old daughter in a town called Guadal.

Maria and her husband are engaged in farming and raising animals, activities which have allowed them to have financial stability and provide their daughter with an education.

Maria grows peppers. Due to the weather and the soil, this product that is harvested is of good quality and consequently, in high demand by the buyers. However, this product requires a large initial investment as the seeds are a bit costly.

Maria needs to purchase seeds and organic fertilizer to grow peppers. With the profits she makes from selling her crops, Maria hopes to buy a gift for her daughter because she has worked so hard on her studies, and is about to finish school.
Maria will be very grateful for your help.
