A loan helped to buy accessories and batteries for cell phones.

Diana Karolina's story

In the place called San Isidro, in the city of Bahía de Caráquez, the people work in agricultural production, and 68% of the area's inhabitants make a living in producing and selling milk. There are also milk processing plants. Other agricultural products include coffee, cocoa and passion fruit.

Diana is 23 years old, single and has no children. She lives with her parents.

To pay for her personal expenses and help her parents, Diana opened a cyber café. She works every day from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. She also sells cell phone accessories of different brands, models and colors, and has PlayStation rentals by the hour. Her store is very busy, and she has an assistant who is a relative. She has owned this business for about six years, and she likes this work because she meets many people from different places.

With this new loan, she will buy accessories and batteries for cell phones. She has been in her communal bank for two loan cycles, and she likes it because she receives the loans very quickly and without too much paperwork. Diana's dream is to have a larger store with many accessories for a great variety of cell phones.
