Hà's story

Mrs Hà is 38 years old and she is married with two children. Hà lives in Bim Son town, a semi-urban town in Thanh Hoa province. She has operated a food stall/restaurant selling vegetables for more than 10 years. Her family is a low-income household in the village; moreover, the income from this business is not high enough to do what she really needs to live comfortably. She is a hardworking woman who wants to build a better life for herself and her children.

The main hardship that she faces is lack of money to keep sending her children to school. She is requesting a loan to pay for books, school supplies, a bicycle and school fees for her children.

In 2015, Hà joined Thanh Hoa microfinance institution to improve her business. Hà has successfully repaid two loans from Thanh Hoa microfinance institution.

With her business profit, Hà hopes for her family to be healthy and happy, for her business to do well, and to travel for vacation within the country.
