Yoeun, 50, is a widowed mother of four children who lives in the Kampong Chhnang province, Cambodia. To support the family living, she has been cultivating rice to make profits for the past 20 years, typically making around 2 USD per day.
She is pictured first on the right. As a group leader, she would like to ask for a loan in a group of two members. She will use her loan share to pay for the plowing expenses on her farm. She is confident that this loan will allow her to cultivate rice in both dry and rainy seasons to increase her crop yields. In the future, she is going to open a grocery store, to renovate her house, and help her children to get a higher education.
