A loan helped buy a greater variety of clothing so she can take care of her customers' needs.

Fatima Maria's story

Fátima lives in her own house with her husband and 2-year old son. Her husband works in the business owned by Fátima's mother who is a merchant. Her father also provides financial assistance. She has earned her living selling clothing for four years, and her work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. On Saturdays she works from 8 am to 1 pm. Fátima's mother taught how to run a business which is today her principal source of income.

With the loan money she will be able to buy a greater variety of clothing so she can take care of her customers' needs. With this investment in her business, she hopes to be more competitive as both sales and income will be better.

Fátima's goals are to have a financially stable business and to provide for her family's daily needs.
