Elsie's story

I was born in the Philippines from a middle class family. My parents' number one goal in life was to send us all their 6 children to college and it happened. Perseverance and love for family are our family's best virtues. Sometimes, it is good to learn things early in life so you are more appreciative of little things. I moved to the USA together with my 2 kids from former marriage in 2005, that was 14 months after my marriage to a wonderful American guy named Michael. Everything in the USA amazed me when I first got here, it was like the opposite 360 degrees of where I came from. I treated my new life as a blessing and always thankful of each and every blessings that keep on coming. I vow to myself that I will use this great opportunity to make my life even better, continue to follow my parents' goal to send my kids to college and help my community. Oh I am also always grateful to me married to my husband, a US Navy veteran who is always very supportive of me, of my dreams and goals. He is always very proud of me and when he learned about the people craving my food, he agreed to help me get a food trailer. That was how the food business started. We had gone through a financial rough road in 2013 until 2016 but we are surviving. Looking forward to a great New Year 2017 for my family and business.
