Kimheam's story

Kimheam is a 36-year-old married women who lives in the Chey Mongkol Village, Chroab Commune, Santuk District, Kampong Thom Province. She is the mother of three schoolchildren. To make an income, she is now operating a business as a farmer, and her husband is an artisan. Both of them are making a net income of about USD 9.00 per day.

Kimheam wants to increase her output by getting more farmland. Due to the shortage of funds, she cannot afford it yet. Now she is applying for a Kiva loan from HKL to buy a plot of farmland. This is the first loan cycle for her with Kiva. By doing this, she can make more income by increasing output.

She plans to renovate her house and send her children to study in university in the future. She would like to say thanks to all lenders for their financial support.
