Mom's Group's story

At the aged of 35, Mom is a mother of two schoolchildren. They live in Ponhea Krek district of Tbaung Khmum province. She and her husband earn a living through a rice plantation, which they have been doing for around 17 years. Her husband is transports mangos for additional income. Together, they can manage to save about 8 US dollars each day.

Mom has never been with VisionFund before and this is the first loan for her. As a leader of this two-member group, Mom will spend her loan portion to hire a worker in order to harvest her crops on time. She hopes to increase her crop productivity so that she can earn more income to keep supporting on her children’s education.
