Sou's story

Mrs. Sou, 33, is the married mother of three children who range in age from one to 15 years old. They live in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia, where she and her husband have been growing rice to earn money since 2000. They typically make about $14 per day. She is seeking her first loan from KREDIT Microfinance to buy a solar panel to provide lighting in her house. She hopes that this loan will allow her to have enough electricity for her family to use. In the future, Sou wants to help expand her farm and support her children so they can have a higher education.
