Qurbonoi's story

Qurbonoi is a polite woman. She was born in 1977 in Yavan, Tajikistan, is married, and has three children.

As a farmer, she sows onions, lentils, potatoes, wheat, cotton, and maize. This year, she intends to sow onions and lentils on a hectare plot of land. She does her work very well and earns a good income. From her farming profits, she feeds her family. She has been working for more than 10 years in this field. She has a lot of experience. Her husband helps her in this business.

Sadly, Qurbonoi lacks financial support. She has no money to pay for rental workers or buy seeds and mineral fertilizers. She hopes that with support from Kiva lenders she will fertilize the land and reap a good harvest close to her goal.

She is repeat client and has positive credit history. This is her third loan through Kiva's field partner IMON. With this aim, she is asking for a loan of 12,000 Tajikistani somoni (TJS). She awaits your support and mercy.

This loan is special because:

It supports the well being of women and their families.
