A loan helped to purchase green leaves for the expansion of her leaf plate making business.

Rajeswari's story

At 40 years of age, Rajeswari hails from the Rayagada district of Odisha. She is an active lady, and takes a great role in her development of her family’s financial status.

After completion of her domestic work, she makes leaf plates and sells them to the local wholesalers. Her husband is also helping her to buy the green leaves from the local market.

Their family income is around INR 8,000 per month. But the present income is not sufficient to manage the business expenses as well as the household expenses for her family.

So she decided to raise her income by increasing the volume of her business through a loan. For that she applies a loan of INR 20,000 from Mahashakthi Foundation, partner of Milaap, to purchase the green leaves and necessary items for plate making.

She believes that she can raise the volume of business. Your loan will help her family a lot. She is grateful to her lenders.
