Eth's story

Eth is a married mother who is blessed with three dependent children; two of them are below school age and the other one is in school. She is 30 years old. She is living in the Srey Snom district of Siem Reap province where she has been growing rice to make a living. During her spare time, she works as a paid worker to make more income.

Rice farming has been an important source of income for her for around 6 years. Now it is threatened by insects and this is the main challenge for her. This is the first loan for her with VisionFund and she will use it to pay plowing fees and hire workers to increase the productivity of her crops. In the future, she hopes to harvest a good yield and sell it at a better price at the market.
