A loan helped to buy chicks, rations and vaccinations to strengthen his flock.

Fernando's story

Fernando is 59 years old, a member of the police reserves and a poultry farmer. He is married and the father of four children, three of whom work and one who studies. He supports six grandchildren who live with him in his own home.

With the money from this loan Fernando plans to buy chicks, rations and vaccines to strengthen his flock.

Fernando's plans for the future are to have a hardware store, a flour mill and to purchase a vehicle to get around as part of his business.

Fernando says that his main challenge is a lack of funds. He will apply for more loans to make his plans reality.

With his previous loans Fernando has improved his business raising chickens, built a home and made rooms.
