Sak's story

Sak, 52, is a married mother with a dependent teenager who is a construction worker. She resides in a small village in the Kampong Chhnang Province in Cambodia.

She has been involved in animal husbandry and growing rice/beans/sesame for more than 30 years, has an extensive experience, and is successful in her sector.

Her husband, 52, is also a farmer and fisherman. Her family can earn around $22 per day. In the future, she wants to expand her farming and save money to buy construction materials to build a toilet.
