A loan helped to pay the workers who help her harvest her crops and also to pay the rent for the land.

Norma Yannette's story

Norma is 41 years old and has a third-grade education. Her spouse has a truck which he uses to take trips in and around the community. They do not have children but her sister and niece live in their home.

Norma works growing corn, sweet potatoes, and yucca and makes good earnings when she sells her crops. She works on rented lands near her home and pays young men to help her. Aside from this, she also has experience selling tortillas and raising cattle. She was recently supported with a loan with which she was able to purchase cattle and is about to finish paying it.

She needs a loan to pay the workers who help her harvest her crops and also to pay the rent for the land. Norma hopes to continue farming because her family mostly depends upon this work.
