A loan helped to purchase supplies for fixing up her hen house and to purchase some fryer chickens and a local species of chicken.

Liana Hanitra's story

Hanitra, aged 43, is married, and her husband works as a chauffeur. The number of children is three (aged 15, 18, and 20 in grade 10, 11, and 12 respectively). This family lives in their own house. Hanitra started her business selling chickens in 2010. Since the rainy season is approaching, she wants to fix up her location for selling products.

In the past, she used to restrict herself only to raising livestock. Now she sells products (fryer chickens and a local species of chicken) to satisfy customer needs. But her funds are not sufficient for completing the renovation work or adding to her inventory, thus the request for a loan.
