Alejandrina and her husband are a young married couple who lives in a rural area with their children. She went to primary school but was unable to finish her education. The house where she lives is rustic, with a Spanish tile roof and no basic utilities. She works hard every day with much optimism to earn a living for her family.
For approximately eight years she has worked in agriculture producing and selling her crops. She takes them to market in the neighboring provinces and villages. Her main crop are potatoes, butter beans, oats and other produce in small quantities mainly for home consumption.
Alejandrina is in need of a loan to buy organic fertilizer and potato seeds to increase production, continue sales and earn more income for a better quality of life.
