Koeu's Group's story

Koeu is a 37 years old woman with four children; two among them are still depending on her to look after them. Growing rice and working as a paid worker are the main sources of her family’s income for almost 25 years.

This will be the fourth loan cycle for Koeu with VisionFund, and those past loans have help her to have enough household consumption for her family’s uses and support on her children’s studying. Recently, her farming business faces with a problem of drought so that she could not generate income as before.

To save her business, she is now leading a group of six members to apply for a new loan portion. Koeu will use this loan to buy fertilizer and pay for harvesting fees, which is expected to increase productivity of her crop yield. She believes that she will gain more output and be able to earn more income from her current business.
