A loan helped to pay for university fees.

James's story

Meet James from Mlango Kubwa, Nairobi. He was brought up by both parents up to primary school level but unfortunately his father died in a fatal accident when he was ready to enter secondary school. Since then, his life became a compete struggle. Although James graduated from secondary school, he could not further his studies.

James was recruited by DDD in 2014 as a Data Management Operator when he was aged 21 years to gain experience and have a modest salary. DDD awarded him a partial scholarship for his University where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Public Policy and Administration degree at Kenyatta University. However, this is not enough to cover his entire tuition fee. Therefore, he is kindly requesting a Kiva loan in order to enable him to fulfill his future life dream.

He likes reading, swimming and playing football.
