A loan helped buy better seeds and agricultural supplies to eliminate weeds and prepare the land where she plans on planting corn.

Blanca Amalia's story

Blanca is divorced and she currently lives with her two children. Her source of income comes from growing corn. Her crops supply her family with food and the rest goes on sale so that she has income to cover other family needs.

She started the business about 10 years ago with her own funds. She works every day from 6:00am to noon.

In order to have everything ready for the planting season, she has decided to apply for a loan that will help buy better seeds and agricultural supplies to eliminate weeds and prepare the land where she plans on planting corn. The money will also allow her to pay for labor to help grow her crops.

Blanca is aiming for an abundant harvest and to grow as a small business owner in order to give her kids a better future.
