A loan helped to buy agricultural inputs to cultivate maize.

Rosalba Vasquez's story

Rosalba studied until the first year of high school. She is a single mother of four children, of whom one is independent, two are in school, and one still isn't.

Rosalba has taken care of children at a daycare center for three years. She also attends to household chores and cultivates maize, and thanks to the previous loans she has received from Kiva, she has improved her life. She finished paying back one of the loans and the other is almost finished.

She needs a new loan to buy agricultural inputs to cultivate maize.

She dreams of improving the condition of her home, since she wants to feel safe with her children. She hopes they keep studying and live better one day.
