A loan helped a member to buy renewable sustainable energy products.

Ronica's Fisenge Group 2's story

Ronica is a farmer and has a few dairy cows. She is the treasurer of the local dairy cooperative and is very active in her social club and her church. She is right in front in the picture wearing a sleeveless white top. Her 6 children have finished school and both she and her husband are now alone on the farm.

She wants to buy a Home Energy system that will give her solar lights, USB phone charging, a clean cook stove and a year’s subscription of fuel pellets to stop spending so much on candles, phone charging and charcoal. She will have no more need to collect firewood or to buy charcoal. The lights will give good lighting and reduce the accidents caused by candles. She will spend less time cooking and be able to concentrate on other things.

Ronica intends to grow her farm and needs to keep her energy for that. She is happy to help protect the forests.
