Víctor is 33 years old, a small business owner from the city of Barranquilla who has always worked selling food items. He started his business by selling fruits from a market stall located in the city center. On one of his trips to buy foods, he brought back with him a large container of honey that he got from a town on the Atlantic coast. He distributed the honey in individual bottles for individual sales. He was successful in this venture and he hired two people to sell in other neighborhoods of the city. He is now requesting his first Kiva loan through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo so he can buy natural products such as: pure bee’s honey and jellies and syrups made with honey and herbal medicines. Víctor is engaged and is the father of two daughters. His dream is to have his business in a store, to buy a house, and to provide a good education to his daughters. Support him via his loan.
