Daysi is a 25 year old, young lady. She is the mother of two young daughters. She lives with her husband in a house located in the community of Laurel in San Lorenzo, in southern Honduras.
For eight years she has worked selling soups made of chicken, tripe and beef; soft drinks; clothes and cosmetics. She also make tamales. She sells to her neighbors and people she knows. She works a lot and has various businesses in order to cover the household expenses, as her husband earns very little. She also takes shifts in a business that exports shrimp.
Daysi is seeking a loan to buy firewood, oil, chickens, beef, pork, vegetables, milk products, corn flour, wheat flour, etc., as her customers have asked for a variety of foods. With the support of the loan she plans to improve her earnings and her quality of life. This will allow her to satisfy the needs of her customers. Her dream is to improve her house.
