Chase's story

Hi! I'm Chase Clark, and that's me up there, in front of my soon-to-be new retail shop, holding a ton of the beautiful indie-dyed yarns I already carry in my online shop! Here's a little about me: I grew up on the central coast of California, in a little town called Paso Robles. I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area for college and instantly knew that I would never leave. I did a double major in Business and Art, hoping to put both to good use someday when I opened my own art-oriented small business. Making art and doing things by hand has always been a huge part of my life, and it's brought me so much joy that I want to share it with as many other people as I possibly can. I've been producing and selling handmade goods of my own design for over a decade, and I've been contracted by tons of amazing artists in the area to help produce their designs as well. And over that decade I've met so many people at craft fairs and online who marvel at what I can make, lamenting that they could never do that kind of work, and I want to help them learn that they too can be creative and make beautiful things by hand. I am surrounded by an amazing community, and I know that the shop will become a fixture for crafters and artists of all kinds where they can find inspiration, encouragement, and even support for their own small businesses.
