A loan helped to purchase material needed for her embroidery handicraft work to increase her income to pay for her children's education.

Vjollca's story

Vjollca is 37 and a mother of four children. She is a caring mother and a hardworking woman who works in embroidery from her home.

Working in embroidery, she is able to supplement her family’s income and send three of her children to school. Her husband works as a security guard and earns a low income.

She tries to give what’s best to her children and hopes that they have a brighter future. In the picture, you can see Vjollca with her husband and two of her children.

She is requesting a loan to purchase threads and some other embroidery materials needed to continue her work and improve her family’s well-being.

This is her third Kiva loan and she would like to thank all the lenders who gave their support for her two previous loans.

This loan is special because:

It supports the social and economic well being of low-income families.
