Sania's story

Born in 1962, Sania, a married Lebanese woman, lives with her husband and two kids in their own apartment in Aley area, Lebanon. Since 2000, Sania has worked in making jewelry from beads and doing artwork from home. She gets her income out of it. Her husband works as a security guard, has limited income, and handles the housing expenses.

Before the beginning of the school season, Sania is asking for a 1,234,327 Lebanese pound loan from Kiva partner, Ibdaa, for the first time. She needs to buy additional artistic equipment for her home-based business. In that way, she will be able to increase her income and support her business. Sania is aiming to help her husband with her children's school fees and assure them better living conditions.
