A loan helped to buy farming supplies, which will improve the quality of her crops and produce a greater yield.

Carmen Amelia's story

Carmen is twenty-nine years old. She has four children and lives with her husband and children in the city of San Miguel.

She makes a living growing ulluco (a root vegetable), beans and potatoes, and also raises sheep, rabbits and cows.

She needs the money from the loan to buy farming supplies, which will improve the quality of her crops and produce a better yield. She buys and sells in the cities of Chimbo and San Miguel.

Her dream is to make a better investment to help improve her quality of life, and her challenge is to provide her family with more comfort. In her spare time she likes to be with her family.
