A loan helped a member to buy and sell pigs.

Sagrado Corazon De Jesus Group's story

The communal bank group Sagrado Corazon de Jesus consists of 13 members who are responsible mothers with a total of 20 minor children. They are from Telica and known for being hard-working and determined to improve their personal situations. In their free time they enjoy spending time with their children. All of them have different businesses which are their only sources of income to support their children. They hope to meet their goals and expand their business, as well as educate their children.

The coordinator is Rosa Maria who buys and sells pigs. Her business is set up at home where she attends to her customers.

The Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Group is grateful to Kiva lenders for the support they give to people with low incomes in poor countries like Nicaragua so they can engage in decent employment.

In this group: Nilda Linet, Maria Cecilia, Teresa Eufemia, Rosa Maria, Alba Rosa, Jeny Melania, Maria Isabel, Ogracia De Jesus, Neydi Dolores, Mariana Del Socorro, Silvania Valeria, Dominga Adelayda, Zenelia Del Socorro
