A loan helped a member to purchase necessary seeds to increase her vegetable planting production and sales to improve her family's living conditions.


Al-Dahabia Group's story

Al-Dahabia is a group which consists of two Syrian refugees and one Lebanese citizen. They decided to acquire a special Syrian refugee group loan product to develop their businesses and improve their families’ living conditions.

Salam is the group's featured borrower. Salam is the lady at the far left side of the picture. She is a 24-year-old married mother of two. She has been planting and selling vegetables since August 2015 to support her family members and cover their necessary daily needs. Through her loan share, Salam will purchase necessary seeds to increase her vegetable production and sales in order to improve her family's living conditions.

As for the other group members, Nariman is the Lebanese citizen sitting between her beloved Syrian refugees, Salam at the left, and Habseh at the Right.
